in the following positions:

A. District Coordinating Officers
Job Purpose
The jobholder will be charged with running the day to day activities of the Scheme at the District level to ensure smooth operations all year round
Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the incumbent include but not limited to the following:
1. Monitor the attendance of the National Service Persons and Volunteers in the district
2. Administer and supervise the completion of annual report forms of National Service
Persons
3. Manage the staff of the district office and ensure that policies and procedures are
adhered to at the district level
4. Undertake periodic visits to user agencies to ensure that National Service Persons and
Volunteers are at post.
5. Liaise with private user agencies on the payment of administrative charges to the
Scheme.
6. Collate and report posting related issues to the regional or head office for resolution
7. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports on the operations of the
district to management for effective decision making
8. Monitor and supervise the Scheme’s project in the district. The projects include
Agriculture, Boreholes, catering services, manufacturing etc.
9. Prepare and submit monthly status report of all the projects in the district to
management
10. Performance other duties as may be assigned by the Board and or Management of the
Scheme.
Education, Experience and Technical Knowledge
• 1st Degree from a recognized university
• Must have a minimum of 3years relevant post qualification experience
• Must have worked in a Supervisory role for a minimum of 2years out of the 5years
experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and presentation skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Good business and financial management skills
• Good project management skills
B. Accounts Officers
Job Purpose
The jobholder will be responsible for the preparation of vouchers and recording of financial transactions for the Scheme
Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the incumbent include but not limited to the following:
1. Prepare and post petty cash vouchers on daily basis
2. Update financial records on daily basis to ensure values are current
3. Prepare weekly cash flow and balance sheet reconciliations
4. Assist in month end and periodic postings for financial reports
5. Prepare pay vouchers for approval
6. Write Cheques and post cheque payment vouchers
Education, Experience and Technical Knowledge
• 1st Degree in Accounting with minimum of 2years relevant post qualification experience
(National Service Excluded)
• Higher National Diploma with minimum of 3years relevant post qualification experience
(National Service Excluded)
• Being a student member of a professional accounting body (eg. ICA, ACCA, CIMA) is an
added advantage
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good team playing skills
C. Audit Officers
Job Purpose
The jobholder will ensure the compliance and adherence to effective risk management controls and policies and procedures of the Scheme
Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the incumbent include but not limited to the following:
1. Coordinate the activities of external auditors and regulators as required.
2. Conduct post audit on imprest retirement and conduct cash counts at the direction
of the Internal Auditor
3. Check compliance of all departments with the Scheme’s laid down policies and
procedures.
4. Review accuracy and completeness of financial statements of the company
5. Conduct special and investigative audit as may be assigned by the Internal Auditor
6. Collect and analyse data on operation efficiency and make recommendations where
required.
7. Submit audit report of assignments to the Internal Auditor
8. Verify assets register on quarterly basis and submit report to the Internal Audit
Manager
Education, Experience and Technical Knowledge
• 1st Degree in Accounting/ Auditing/ Business Administration or related field with
minimum of 2years relevant post qualification experience (National Service Excluded)
• Higher National Diploma with minimum of 3years relevant post qualification experience
(National Service Excluded)
• Being a student member of a professional accounting body related to job role is an
added advantage
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good knowledge of audit procedure
D. Secretaries
Job Purpose
To provide effective and efficient support for the day to day administration of the Scheme.
Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the incumbent include but not limited to the following:
1. Maintain an updated database and keep an effective filing system for easy retrieval
2. Ensure that all office equipment are kept clean and in order
3. Manage calls/fax and perform general reception duties
4. Type letters, memos and reports as my be assigned
5. Circulate notices for meetings
6. Record proceedings of meetings and prepare minutes for circulation per guidelines
7. Receive visitors and manage appointments
Education, Experience and Technical Knowledge
• Higher National Diploma in Management studies/ Secretaryship or related field with
minimum of 3years relevant post qualification experience (National Service Excluded)
• Advanced or Ordinary Diploma in Management Studies/ Secretaryship or related field
with minimum of 4years relevant post qualification experience
• Very good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Good shorthand writing skills
• Good office management skills
E. Catering Assistants
Job Purpose
To assist in the preparation of food and pastries as well as the supervision and control of the catering unit
Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the incumbent include but not limited to
the following:
1. Ensure hygienic standards at the kitchen
2. Supervise and actively lead in the preparation of quality hygienic food and pastries
3. Effectively market food products to the public to increase sales
4. Deliver food orders in time to ensure customer satisfaction
5. Act in the absence of the Senior Catering officer to ensure the smooth running of the
unit
6. Supervise the finishing and packaging of food and pastries
Education, Experience and Technical Knowledge
• Higher National Diploma in Catering and Hospitality Management with minimum of
3years relevant post qualification experience (National Service Excluded)
• Advanced or Ordinary Diploma in Catering and Hospitality Management or related field
with minimum of 4years relevant post qualification working experience
• Age between 25 and 35 years old.
• Very good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good housekeeping skills
• Very good Supervisory and interpersonal skills
• Excellent catering skills
 
F. Transport Officer
Job Purpose
Manage the Scheme’s fleet of vehicles and ensure all vehicles are in good working conditions
Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the incumbent include but not limited to the following:
1. Monitor and evaluate the performance of vehicles to ensure they are in good working
conditions
2. Develop and maintain a database of maintenance schedule for all vehicles of the
scheme (both departmental and position vehicles
3. Renew the road worthiness and insurance certificates of all vehicles of the scheme to
ensure that vehicles are road worthy
4. Ensure that fuel and lubricants are always available are do not go below the minimum
threshold.
5. Prepare and keep an updated inventory of the Scheme’s vehicles indicating their
locations, individuals and departments assigned to.
6. Allocate log books to all pool and departmental vehicles and ensure that drivers use
them effectively
7. Supervise the company’s pool drivers and ensure that they accurately enter their
movements in the assigned log books.
8. Monitor the work attendance of drivers
9. Assign drivers to various assignments as and when required
10. Provide assistance to drivers on the renewal of their drivers’ licenses
Education, Experience and Technical Knowledge
• 1st Degree in Transport Management/ Mechanical Engineering or related field with
minimum of 3years relevant post qualification experience (National Service Excluded)
• Higher National Diploma in Transport Management/ Mechanical Engineering with
minimum of 4years relevant working experience (National Service Excluded)
• Good knowledge of the Ghana Highway Code
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good Supervisory and Interpersonal skills
G. Film Editor
Job Purpose
To produce, edit and market films and documentaries for the Scheme
Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the incumbent include but not limited to
the following:
1. Work with raw footage, select shots and combine them in sequences to create a finished
motion
2. Assemble shots into coherent sequence
3. Edit dialogue scenes
4. Creatively work with layers of images, stories, dialogues, music
5. Effectively re-imagine and rewrite
Education, Experience and Technical Knowledge
• Bachelor of Fine Arts (Film and TV Production) for a recognized institution
• Minimum of 3 years relevant post qualification experience
• Very good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent digital technology skills
• Good team playing skills
