UMAT Releases 2016 Admission

It is announced for the information of prospective applicants who wrote the 2015 WASSCE and others that application forms for admission to undergraduate programmes in the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa, for the 2016/2017 academic year are on sale.
The cost of one set of application forms is two hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢200.00) for Ghanaian applicants and US$100.00 for foreign applicants. The application forms for admission (Ghanaians only) can be purchased at the following places:

1. Ghana Commercial Bank.
2. Access Bank.
3. Ecobank
4. Zenith Bank
5. Post Offices.

The following will be the procedure for the sale of the forms:

1. The Banks and the Post Offices have been furnished with a list of serial numbers with their corresponding Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) for the sale of the forms.
2. On payment for the forms, the Bank and the Post Offices will issue a payment receipt containing a unique serial number with its corresponding PIN per each form purchased.
3. The serial number and the PIN will be used by the applicant as the login details on the UMaT Online Admission System. Applicants are allowed to purchase and submit only one form.

Applicants should know that only results provided at the time of submitting the application will be used in selecting students. Application without results is incomplete.
