Pan African Christian University College (PACUC) is an educational initiative of the Church of God World Missions. At the time of this publication, the University College had two Schools: the School of Theology and the School of Administration and Business Management (originally known as the School of Business). Nonetheless, the origin of the University College stems from the historical beginning in October 2001 at Adenta, in Accra where the College operated with only one school, namely the School of Theology. The University College was then known as Pan African Theological College.
The University College was later re-located at Pomadze, a suburb of Winneba. It is situated along the Swedru Highway, a kilometre from Winneba roundabout (Junction). Even at its new location, the School of Theology was initially the only School in operation, with the main aim of training pastors to serve in the ministerial work of the Church of God. In time, the School of Administration and Business Management was added to provide the educational needs of the Ghanaian and other African communities that urgently needed (and still need) its products and services.
In responding to the above needs, the University College solicited for accreditation and affiliation with appropriate higher educational institutions. Its two schools were finally accredited in 2007 by the National Accreditation Board. PACUC then commenced the provision of full-fledged academic services to students from various parts of Africa.
 
Initially PACUC was internationally affiliated to its sister university (Lee University) in the United States of America. It is now affiliated to local institutions (University of Cape Coast and the Trinity Theological Seminary) that better understand local challenges and provide the needed supervision especially on national educational matters.
