Who is coffeehouse keeper and what do they do? A coffeehouse keeper or café manager may the owner of the coffeehouse or café but this may be different from country to country. Frequently in many countries they may also be the employed manager of the café which may be only one of a chain of such outlets.
As well as coffee, the coffeehouse keeper or café manger may serve drinks and snacks.
What are the activities of the job? Taking orders from clients; preparing and serving orders. If they are also the owner or manager they will need to take money, use the cash till, draw up accounts, and ensure the safety and cleanliness of the property, as well as that of any staff they employ. If they are the owner, they will also, as a self employed person, need to buy in supplies and replace or repair what is used or broken from time to time, as well as observe the regulations covering their kind of business
Where is it done and under what conditions? Inside the café or outside one if the weather is warm.
