Police Recruitment 2016 Update
Police embarks on E-recruitment
The Police service has announced it will open avenues for recruitment next week.
The service, however, says in order to avoid recruitment scams, it has resolved to embark on an electronic recruitment.
This was announced by the Inspector General of Police John Kudalor.
Enlistment into the service has been halted since last year as a result of a series of scams that have hit the process in recent times.
Addressing Police officers in the Upper East region, Mr. Kudalor said the electronic recruitment method will eliminate all forms of human involvement in the process.
“The recruitment will come on very soon. I am sure by the end of next weekend the advert for recruitment will come in the papers.
“And this time round we are going to do E-recruitment and I as IGP, I cannot bring anybody into the service; likewise all of you sitting here. The machine will decide and that will be final,” he stated.
