Degree Programmes
Bachelor of Arts in Adult Education
The full-time Bachelor of Arts in Adult Education is a four-year (eight semesters) programme involving coursework and long essay. Students who are selected to pursue this programme offer core and elective courses. These are elective courses for four specialized areas which students may branch from level 300 through level 400. The specialized areas are:
- Literacy Education
- Community Development
- Distance Education
- Peace Education
Admission Requirements
- Senior High School Certificate with passes in all four core subjects and three electives.
- Holders of University of Ghana Diploma in Adult Education or recognized equivalents, with a final Grade Point Average (FGPA) of 3.25 or better are eligible to apply to the Bachelor of Arts in Adult Education. Such Diploma holders will be admitted to Level 200.
- Other qualifications acceptable for consideration include International Baccalaureate (IB), (IGCSE), GCSE, American Grade 13 and other external qualifications which are equivalent to SSSCE and GCE (A’ Levels).
