Who is a financial officer and what do they do? Financial officer is a person who surveys the financial market, seeks financial resources for the organisation, proposes ways of using them effectively, and prepares financial plans.
What are the activities of the financial officer? S/he prepares support materials for economic analysis by the company’s management, and for the pricing of goods and services. S/he co-ordinates the relations between the organisation’s financial and other systems (commercial, production, etc.).
Where is it done and under what conditions? In normal office spaces.
