Who is an archivist and what do they do? The keeper of records places documents, plans, projects, reports, studies and other important written and printed documents into so-called archives.
What are the activities of the archivist? This must be done systematically according to the contents and vocational orientation of the material, i.e. s/he must be able to find his/her way around in the archive. Thus extensive archives and collections emerge, the contents of which must be recorded in catalogues and from which interested persons may borrow.
Where is it done and under what conditions? In libraries and archives.
What tools/equipment do they use? Computers and other office equipment.
What do you need to succeed? You need university education, systematic working habits and concentration.
