UMaT Centre for Communication and Entrepreneurship Skills
The Centre for Communicaion and Entrepreneurship Skills (CENCES), was established in July 2011 to co-ordinate the teaching and learning of all the non hard core science (and technology) disciplines at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT). It is to serve as the nucleus of the future Faculty of Integrated Management Sciences. CENCES operates now as a Department. It is a servicing Department which is expected to develop into the future Faculty of Integrated Management Sciences.

The total number of Acardemic Staff in the Centre is ten (10), out of which seven (7) are permanent and three (3) from other Departments. They are highly qualified with vast industry experience in their field of study.
