His/her task includes determining technological procedures for various types of chemical production, – determining the organisation, procedure and technical conditions of production – determining the requirements for purchase of equipment and machines used in production and operation – itemisation of the amounts and types of materials, monitoring quality – supervising the production process.
Where is it done and under what conditions? In offices and chemical plants, where contact with chemical substances and sometimes shift work must be expected.
What tools/equipment do they use? Computers and office equipment, the spoken word, sometimes measurement and control technology.
What do you need to succeed? You need secondary, higher or university education in the field of chemistry, technical understanding, imagination, organisational abilities and precision.
