Majority of teachers who were victims of the three months pay policy introduced by the former government led by Former President Mahama received their salary arrears in April this year.
The group of teachers who received their salary arrears exclude newly posted teachers who received only one month of their salary arrears.
As at last month,EducationGhana visited the premises of the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission to make inquiries with regards to the validation process and it was evident there was no active validation because all document were been validated apart from those with problems on their forms.
Earlier in April,the Education Minister gave an assurance of the payment of the salary arrears by the end of the month of April.
Teachers who are yet to receive their salary arrears can visit the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission to ensure they have been validated successfully .
