How would you describe Africa?
How would you describe Africa?
How would you describe Africa to someone that has never been there? Like the streets and the people? The buildings and the colors? I have never been to Africa but I’m curious as to what it looks like to those that have been.
Update: Ah, of course I should have given more information and what not. I was wondering how someone would describe the parts of Africa where people are I don’t know how to put it really. Like the parts where people live off what they kill and harvest. I guess the ones that are closer to nature?
Africa isn’t a country, it’s a continent made up of multiple countries. So there are going to be a variety of different things/cultures that one will experience when one visits certain nations in Africa. You should just come and vist. Find a country or countries that interest you and visit them.
@OP: Oh, you mean like the more indigenous, ancient groups? There aren’t very many left in Africa anymore. Most have either adopted agricultural or modern tech lifestyles. The minority who still retain their old traditions live typical hunter-gatherer lifestyles. Of course, they have some thing in their traditions that makes them unique from other indigenous ethnic groups.
The most well-known hunter-gatherer tribe in Africa are the Khoisan, who are also the world’s oldest group of humans. Just google them and you will find a ton of info on their culture and history.
