Jackson Educational Complex Entry Requirements

With unbeatable packages fashioned to give prospective students easy access into the College’s Diploma in Basic Education Programme, the minimum entry requirements for the 2015/2016 academic year are categorised as follows:

A. REGULAR APPLICANTS

i. West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) Holders
Passes (A1 – D7) in six (6) subjects, including Core English Language and Core Mathematics.
ii. Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) Holders
Passes (A – D) in six (6) subjects, including Core English Language and Core Mathematics.

B. TEACHERS’ CERTIFICATE ‘A’ HOLDERS

A pass in all subjects taken in the final examinations of the Colleges of Education.

C. MATURE APPLICANTS

Persons who will be at least twenty-five (25) years of age in the 2015/2016 academic year, with passes in English and Mathematics in WASSCE/SSSCE/GCE ‘O’ Level can also apply as Mature Students and will only be admitted after a pass in an Entrance Examination conducted by the Affiliate University. Proof of age such as a birth certificate or any other legitimate document is required.
