Team KNUST, represented by Ida Masley and Samuel Amoako Kusi, won the gold price at the just ended 2015 Ghana Universities Debate Championship held in Kumasi from June 17 to June 27 2015.
Schools which participated in the competition include University of Ghana, University for Development Studies, Islamic University, and Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.
The final competition was between KNUST and Legon.
Belinda Boahen, a student of KNUST won the best Speaker in the competition. A position she won last year in Legon.
In other sections of the competition, Joseph Nti Mireku, a.k.a. Tintin, won the Best Public Speaker.
