Who is a radiographer or radiotherapist and what do they do? The radiographer does X-ray screening of patients. They may be diagnostic radiographers concerned to identify or screen illnesses and problems, or therapeutic radiographers using radiotherapy as a means of healing patients, e.g. with cancer. In the latter case they may also be known as radiotherapists
