What are the activities of the systems engineer job? The systems engineer tries to achieve the most efficient functioning of the processes within any given organisation and to ensure they run smoothly and effectively together. This involves the establishment and optimum use of information flows between management and accounts departments, most efficient use of production, machinery and equipment, warehouse management, intracompany transport etc.. S/he works together with a variety of staff members, incl. e.g. the finance manager, network administrator and heads of operations.
