ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY – University of Energy and Natural Resources International Students Admission Forms 2017
Admission is open to:
- SSSCE holders with credit passes (A-D) in English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies plus credit passes (A-D) in Three Elective subjects relevant to the programme of study with an aggregate score of 24 or better.
- WASSCE holders with credit passes (A1-C6) in English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies plus credit passes (A1-C6) in Three Elective subjects relevant to the programme of study with an aggregate score of 36 or better.
- ADVANCED LEVEL holders with credit in at least Five (5) subjects at the GCE ‘O’ Level (or its equivalent) including English and Mathematics, plus at least two passes in the subjects relevant to the programme of study.
- HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA HOLDERS in a related course with at least 2nd Class Lower Division. In addition, applicants must have acquired at least Two (2) years post HND working experience.
- UNIVERSITY DIPLOMA HOLDERS in a related course with at least a Pass. In addition applicants must have acquired at least Two (2) years post Diploma working experience.
- MATURE STUDENTS. The applicant must have attained the age of 25 years by September 1, 2017, and show proof of the age with a birth certificate or any legitimate documentary proof of the date of birth. In addition, applicants should have at least credit passes in English Language and Mathematics in SSSCE/WASSCE or any other nationally recognized standard High School level examinations. In lieu of such qualification, applicants must pass a Mature Students’ Entrance Examination conducted by the University in English Language, Mathematics and Aptitude Test.
- FOREIGN APPLICANTS who have any of the above qualifications or their equivalences from an accredited/recognized institution.
- OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Other qualifications acceptable for consideration include International Baccalaureate (IB), IGCSE, American Grade 13 Examinations and other external qualifications which have equivalences to the WASSCE/SSSCE and the GCE (A Levels).
Candidates with Science, Business, General Arts, Visual Art, Home Economics and General Agriculture background can apply for the BSc Hospitality Management and BSc Entrepreneurship and Resource Management programmes.

(2)UENR ACCRA OFFICE, located in the NCTE Building near Trinity Theological Seminary, East Legon.
(3)UENR CAMPUS, SUNYANI at the Academic and Students Affairs Office.
Forms purchased from UENR ACCRA OFFICE and UENR CAMPUS, SUNYANI must be by a Banker’s Draft from the following banks:

Purchase of Forms at the Post Office is strictly by cash
HOW TO APPLY
ON-LINE REGISTRATION
All applicants are to complete the on-line application registration at www.uenr.edu.gh using the serial number on the Admission Form. A printed copy must be attached to the completed forms to be sent to the POST OFFICE. For on-line Application instructions, applicants should log onto https://admissions.uenr.edu.gh and follow the steps to complete the forms.

A completed ADMISSION FORM should be sent to the Post Office together with photocopies of certificates or results slips and in the case of Mature Applicants, birth certificates and any other relevant document(s) should also be attached and sent to the address below:

FOREIGN APPLICANTS
To apply as a foreign student, please visit https://admissions.uenr.edu.gh and click on the International Applications link to access the On-line Application Code Request Form.
Use the form to generate an Application Number and Personal Identification Number (PIN) which you can use to access the on-line Registration Forms.
Please follow the ON-LINE APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS above to complete the process.
Any applicant who wants to pay his/her fees abroad should pay at any ECOBANK BRANCH or AFFILIATE, to an Account Name and Number. (See the website for details) OR pay by International Money Order made payable to UENR. Completed Application Forms must be accompanied by a processing fee which will be announced later. A printed copy of the completed ADMISSION FORMS together with all other relevant documents should be sent either by post or e-mail to

FEE PAYING APPLICANTS
Applicants are to note that a Fee-Paying Facility can be accessed when applicant does not meet the Competitive Requirements and CUT-OFF Points but satisfy Minimum Entry Requirements of Aggregate 24/36 or better. Applicants who wish to take advantage of this Facility should indicate when filling their Application Forms.
ACCOMMODATION
Prospective students who may wish to be considered for hostel accommodation are to indicate the request on their Application Form. Such students would pay the appropriate Residential Facility User Fees.
