Below are the requirements for all the listed courses:
- All applicants MUST hold a certificate accredited by Nursing and Midwifery Council, Ghana
- Applicants MUST hold certificate(s) in any of the following: Nurse-Assistant Clinical (NAC)/Health Assistant Clinical (HAC); Nurse-Assistant Preventive (NAP)/Community Health Nurse (CHN); and post NAC/HAC; NAP/CHN Midwifery.
- Applicants MUST have practised in their chosen fields for three (3) years or more.
- Crossing over from one programme to another (e.g. General Nursing, Public Health Nursing and Midwifery) is allowed but the point of entry is Level 100 instead of Level 200.
- Health Assistant Clinical (HAC) / Nurse Assistant Clinical (NAC) applicants will progress in General Nursing programme and write the Nursing and Midwifery Council (N&MC) Licensing Examination to be qualified as Registered General Nurses (RGN). The entry point is Level 200.
- Community Health Nurses (CHN) / Nurse Assistant Preventive (NAP) applicants will progress in Public Health Nursing programme and write the Nursing and Midwifery Council (N&MC) Licensing Examination to be qualified as Registered Community Nurse (RCN). The entry point is Level 200.
- Post NAP/CHN and post NAC/HAC Midwifery applicants will progress in Midwifery programme and will not have to write the Nursing and Midwifery Council (N&MC) examination. Entry point is Level 200.
- All applicants will be required to provide their Auxiliary Identification Number (AIN) and Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) certificates instead of their transcripts
