Anita De Soso blames civil servants for huge gov’t debts

National Vice Chairperson of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anita De Soso has accused some government workers of being the reason for huge government debts and losses.

She said “Most government staffs misuse items or properties belonging to the state with the intention that the state has the means of getting a new one should the current one blemish. Government owes ECG and GRIDCO those huge sums of money just because most workers in the public institutions go home leaving their electricity gadgets on, whiles they won’t do that in their own homes.”

“It would never be the wish of President John Mahama and his government to leave this country with huge debts because the NDC is a party of no-nonsense,” she told UTV’s morning show host, Lawyer Tweneboah Kodua.

According to her, illegal connections also cause of electricity debts and has caused the frequent increases in electricity bills, since the number of persons who use electricity are more than those who pay.

Referring to the recent sort of strange death cases in the country, Anita De Soso advised citizens to be very vigilant in their dealings towards the upcoming elections.

With much power and seriousness, she rubbished comments levelled against her party by members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that the NDC wants to steal their manifesto, therefore, the brain behind their delay in outdooring it.
