5.         PLUMBERS & MASONS

In addition to the General Eligibility, applicants must have:

a.      Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in one of the above.

b.      Ghana Education Service (GES) or COTVET Certificate in one of the above.

c.       City and Guilds (Intermediate) Certificate in one of the above

d.      NVTI Grade I in one of the above.

Relevant practical experience is an added advantage.

6.         WOOD CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY/CARPENTRY

In addition to the General Eligibility, applicants must have any of the following:

a.      Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Wood Construction Technology.

b.      Ghana Education Service (GES) or COTVET Certificate II in Wood Construction Technology.

c.       NVTI Grade I in Carpentry/Joinery.

d.      City and Guilds (Intermediate) in Carpentry/Joinery

Relevant practical experience is an added advantage.

7.         WELDING & FABRICATION TECHNOLOGY

In addition to the General Eligibility, applicants must have any of the following:

a.      Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Welding and Fabrication Technology.

b.      NVTI Grade I in Welding and Fabrication

c.       COTVET Certificate II in Welding and Fabrication Technology.

d.      City and Guilds (Intermediate) in Welding and Fabrication

Relevant practical experience is an added advantage

8.         ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL ENGINEER

(i)                 MOTOR VEHICLE ENGINEERING/MECHANICS

In addition to the General Eligibility, applicants must have any of the following:

a.      Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Motor Vehicle Engineering with Driving Licence Class D or above.

b.      Ghana Education Service (GES) or COTVET Certificate II in Vehicle Engineering with Driving Licence Class D or above.

c.       City and Guilds (Intermediate) Certificate (Internal Combustion Engines and Motor Vehicles) with Driving Licence Class D or above.

d.      City and Guilds (Intermediate) Certificate in Motor Vehicle Engineering with Driving Licence Class D or above.

e.      NVTI Grade I in one of the above with Driving Licence Class D or above.

Relevant practical experience is an added advantage

(ii)               ELECTRONICS/AUTO ELECTRICIAN & ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

 In addition to the General Eligibility, applicants must have any of the following:

a.   Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in one of the above.

b.   Ghana Education Service (GES) or COTVET Certificate II in one of the above.

c.   NVTI Grade I in one of the above.

d.   City and Guilds (Intermediate) in one of the above.

Relevant practical experience is an added advantage

(iii)             REFRIGERATION AND AIR-CONDITIONING TECHNOLOGY

 In addition to the General Eligibility, applicants must have any of the following:

a.      Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Refrigeration and  Air-Conditioning Technology.

b.   Ghana Education Service (GES) or COTVET Certificate II in Refrigeration and  Air-Conditioning Technology.

c.   NVTI Grade I in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Technology.

d.   City and Guilds (Intermediate) in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning.

Relevant practical experience is an added advantage.

9.         TRANSPORT

            DRIVER MECHANICS

In addition to the General Eligibility, applicants must possess Professional Drivers’ Licence Class D or above with qualification in the Automobile Mechanic in any of the following:

a.      Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Motor Vehicle Engineering.

b.      Ghana Education Service (GES) or COTVET Certificate II in Motor Vehicle Engineering.

c.       City and Guilds (Intermediate) Certificate (Internal Combustion Engines and Motor Vehicles).

d.      City and Guilds (Intermediate) Certificate in Motor Vehicle Engineering.

e.      NVTI Grade I.

f.        SSSCE/WASSCE with Five/5 Credits (Not less than grade C6) including English and a Pass in Mathematics

Relevant practical experience is an added advantage  

10.       TAILORS, TEXTILES & DESIGN AND COBBLERS/LEATHER WORK

In addition to General Eligibility, applicants must have any of the following:

a.      Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in any of the above.

b.      Ghana Education Service (GES) or COTVET Certificate II in any of the above.

c.    NVTI Grade I in one of the above.

d.    City and Guilds (Intermediate) in one of the above

Relevant practical experience is an added advantage.

11.       BANDSMEN

In addition to the General Eligibility, applicants must have Five/5 Credits (Not less than Grade C6) at WASSCE/SSSCE including English and a Pass in Mathematics or Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate/ COTVET Certificate II/ NVTI Grade I/ City and Guilds (Intermediate)/ or Proficiency in Basic Music (ABRSM) grade 4 and the following:

a.      Ability to sight-read musical notes.

b.      Ability to play Wood Wind or Brass Instruments.

Theory and Previous experience in a recognised music group will be an added advantage.

12.       COOKS/CATERERS

In addition to the General Eligibility, applicants must have any of the following.

a.     NVTI Grade I in Hospitality and Catering Management

b.     Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate or COTVET Certificate II in Hospitality and Catering Management.

c.     City and Guilds (Intermediate) in one of the above

Relevant practical experience is an added advantage.
