Abdul Kudus Buhari graduates with an FGPA of 3.92 as the University of Ghana, Legon 2016 best graduating student. He was a political science student and a former student of Wenchi Senior High school where he took General Arts. He dreams of making an impact in the academic realm where he can contribute to national development.

Mr. Abdul Kudus Buhari had his secondary education at Wenchi Senior High School in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana where he read general Arts. He chose to further his education in University of Ghana because of its global reputation and excellent academic delivery. He is graduating with an FGPA of 3.92.
Abdul was offered political science, English and Archaeology and took a major in Political Science. He was a student leader and in 2013 – 14 became the organizing secretary for Campus Association of Students with Special Needs. At that same time he served as a representative of Mensah Sarbah Hall on the Students Representative Council’s General Assembly and a member of Political Science Students Association (POSSA) Parliament. As well. In 2014 – 15 he was elected to the position of the Welfare Secretary of the Junior Common Room (JCR) of Mensah Sarbah hall.
Abdul is also a sportsman. He is a Goalball prayer and together with the Legon Goalball team won a gold trophy for the University of Ghana in the 2016 Ghana University Students Association (GUSA) USA games organized at the University of Education, Winneba.
Abdul tells us that his dream to become a medical doctor was dashed when he got eye defect through which he lost the right eye and retained low vision in the left eye. He believes strongly in the philosophy of disability is not inability and has always set for himself a target of challenging the status quo by breaking new grounds irrespective of the challenge confronting him.
Abdul seeks to develop a career in Global Governance, Diplomacy and Law. His dream is to remain in academia where he can contribute his quota to national development through research and innovation. Outside his academic life, he is also interested in community development through communal labor.
