Below are the Ghana Immigration Service 2017/2018 General Requirements for both graduates and non graduate applicants. Interested applicants are to make sure the qualify on paper following the requirements below.
Ghana Immigration Service General Requirements for non Graduates
All candidates are to satisfy the following requirements:
• Must be a Ghanaian citizen by birth with no criminal record.
• Must hold SSSCE/WASSCE Certificate with Five (5) credits including English Language and a pass in Mathematics.
• Must be of a minimum age of 18 and not more than 26 years by the time of application.
• Must be physically and medically fit.
• Must be of good character.
• Must not be bonded.
• Must have a minimum height of 1.73metres (5ft 8inch) for Males and 1.63 metres (5ft 4inch) for Female.
Ghana Immigration Service General Requirements for Graduates
All candidates are to satisfy the following requirements:
• Must be a Ghanaian citizen by birth with no criminal record.
• Must possess a first Degree not below a Second Class Lower in Social Sciences/Humanities from an accredited University.
• Must have completed his/her National Service.
• Must be computer Literate.
• Must be of a minimum age of 21 and not more than 28 years by the time of application.
• Must be physically and medically fit.
• Must be of good character.
• Must not be bonded.
• Must have a minimum height of 1.73metres (5ft 8inch) for Males and 1.63 metres (5ft 4inch) for Female.
• Have Five/5 Credits in subjects (Not less than grade 6) at BECE including English and a Pass in Mathematics. • Have Five/5 Credits in subjects (Not less than grade C6) at SSSCE/WASSCE including English and a Pass in Mathematics.
How to apply | Ghana Immigration Service 2017/2018
NB: Make sure to buy your evoucher from any of the Ghana Commercial Bank branches across the country. You will need the serial number and the pincode from the evoucher before starting the registration process.
Carefully read through the entry and recruitment instructions. Make your decisions and take note of all required data in the subsequent steps.
Visit the online application portal
Click on the Apply Now tab and enter the evoucher serial and pincode details. Select your highest educational level.
Select preferred branch and enter your Bio and Educational data and upload a passport sized picture of dimension (200×180) pixels before submitting.
Print out a copy of the application summary report, which contains details of your Applicant Identification (ID Number) and other relevant data.
Once application is successfully submitted you can comeback before the closing date to print your summary report with help of the card purchased.
