The annual general congress of the University Students Association of Ghana (USAG) was brought to a close with an election of new leaders to steer the affair of the association over the next academic year.
This year’s congress was held on the premises of Cape Coast University. Delegates from all the universities across the country converged on Monday the 20th day of July 2015 to deliberate on the activities and policies of USAG and most importantly elect new leaders for the association.
The congress commenced on Monday with an opening ceremony within the early hours of the day. Series of activities including a presidential debate and an excursion to some of the tourist sites within the Cape Coast metropolis were undertaken to make the congress a successful and stress-free one. The election which was the main agenda for the annual USAG congress however came off within the late hours of Thursday the 23rd of July 2015.
