Presidential staffer, Kojo Adu-Asare is offering his little finger if the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) if they can prove that the Central regional chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was arrested at Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom.

According to him, Bernard Allotey Jacobs was never arrested or detained for questioning as it is being insinuated by members of the NPP.

The NDC man was trending on social media after it was alleged that he was arrested over money laundering issues.

Mr. Jacobs who was onboard British airline flight 078 was said to have been ushered out of the flight by UK Security officials for questioning.

The NDC is blaming an NPP Communications team member, Hopeson Adorye of circulating the false news and the NDC Central regional chairman has vowed to deal ruthlessly with him for defaming his character.

In support, Kojo Adu-Asare on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme said the conduct of the NPP man must be condemned in no uncertain terms.

In his view, as fabricated story by the NPP is part of a grand scheme is make the Mahama-led government unpopular.

The former Adenta Member of Parliament could not fathom why the NPP would come out with such a story just for cheap political points.

Kojo Adu-Asare added that the NPP is free to chop off his little finger if they produce pictorial evidence of Allotey Jacobs being escorted by security officials at the Heathrow airport.
