KNUST 2018/2019 Admissions application will begin when the forms are released in January 2018. The admission application will be fully done online. Applicants will be required to purchase the online application voucher from some stated banks and regional post offices and apply.

It is announced for the information of prospective Applicants (as specified above) and the general public that applications to Degree/Top-Up Programmes of Study at the University will be out is January 2018.
APPLICANTS WHO HAVE EXAMINATION RESULTS AS AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION AND APPLICANTS WHO WILL BE WRITING WASSCE IN MAY/JUNE, 2018 ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.
The Sale of E-Voucher for the online Application will be open to the following Applicants:
1. WASSCE/SSSCE Holders who have credits (A1-C6/A-D) in the following Three (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science plus credits (A1-C6/ A-D) in Three Elective Subjects with an Aggregate Score of 24 or better in the relevant Area of Study.
OR
GENERAL BUSINESS CERTIFICATE (GBCE) Holders who possess passes in Three compulsory Subjects including English Language and passes in any Three Elective Subjects including Business Mathematics.
2. ADVANCED LEVEL Holders with credits in at least Five (5) subjects at the GCE ‘O’ Level (or its equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics plus at least two passes in the relevant subjects at the Advanced Level.
OR
ADVANCED BUSINESS CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION (ABCE) Holders with passes in Three compulsory Subjects plus Three optional subjects relevant to the Programme of study, OR Applicants with Stage I of ACCA, ICA, Associate of Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB), Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) with credits at WASSCE/SSSCE in Three (3) Core Subjects and credits in Three (3) Elective Subjects or Six (6) credits at GBCE or ABCE or GCE O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics.
3. MATURE STUDENTS who have attained the age of 25 years or above at the time of Application and have credits in Five (5) GCE ‘O Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics, in addition to passing an Entrance Examination and /or Interview.

KNUST Fees
The exact KNUST fees for the 2018/2019 academic year will be out at the beginning of the academic year. Freshmen are however estimatedly going to pay between Ghc 1200 and Ghc 2000.
Take note of the following important information on the payment of fees
1. Students are required to pay the Total academic and Residential fees only into KNUST MAIN FEES COLLECTION ACCOUNT at any of the following Banks: GCB BANK/ECOBANK/HFC BANK/UBA BANK/CAL BANK/UNI BANK/BARCLAYS BANK/GT BANK AND GHANA POST.
2. The details of other charges, special charges and residential charges are only for your information.
3. Residential Fees and Academic Fees should be paid separately into the same accounts Using different pay-in-slips for each fee item (i.e. Residential Fees, Academic Fees)
4. All freshmen are to have their Chest X-ray, and examination at KNUST Hospital
