Undergraduate Applicants

How to Apply to KNUST; It is announced for the information of prospective Applicants (WASSCE/SSSCE/ADVANCED LEVEL/MATURE/ABCE/GBCE AND IB CANDIDATES) and the general public that applications to Degree/Top-Up Programmes of Study at the University for the 2017/2018 Academic Year are now open.
Applicants who have Examination Results as at the time of application and applicants who will be writing WASSCE in May/June, 2017 are Eligible to Apply.

Admission of Candidates to MSC Geophysical Engineering

The programme is open to all applicants, but targeted towards young and mid-career professionals working or seeking to work in the mining, oil and gas, civil, geotechnical, agricultural, and water industries in Ghana and the West African sub-region. The programme will provide participants with practical knowledge and skills in the collection, processing and interpretation of geophysical data for applications in geotechnical investigations, exploration of oil and gas, mineral resources and groundwater, mining ore bodies, siting of disposal sites and landfills, and assessing integrity of natural earth materials for addressing societal needs.

Sandwich Programme in BSc. Forest Resources Technology (CLOSED)

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources Technology. The KNUST in seeking to advance knowledge in Science and Technology for Sustainable Development is continuing her already instituted Long Vacation Study known and called Sandwich Programme from May–August every year at the Faculty of Forest Resources Technology, KNUST, Kumasi. This is to mitigate the increasing conflicts between Environment/Agriculture/Forest and Land Resource manager’s occupational demands and their requirement for formal training.
