KNUST Sold over 1 million Admission forms, Admits Only 15,506

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has offered admission to 15,506 successful undergraduate and post graduate applicants for the 2017/academic year.
The provisional list of applicants published on the KNUST website reveals that 10,691 SSSCE/WASSCE, 178 international applicants, 200 fee paying applicants (Mature/Other/Ghanaian with foreign results), 1,560 applicants from less endowed schools and 910 NMTC upgrade applicants were successful with their undergraduate applications.
A total of 1,967 applicants (comprised of 90 international applicants and 1,877 Ghanaian applicants) also gained provisional entry to KNUST to pursue postgraduate courses.
A total of 4,835 students were also offered admission to the university as Distance Learning applicants.
Admitted students are expected to log in with their card/application number to print out provisional offer letters.
