Citizens of Logba resident in Accra and Tema have launched an education fund to support brilliant but needy students in the Logba traditional area in the Afadjato South District of the Volta region.
The fund known as the Akpana Education Fund seeks to mobilise resources to help selected pupils of Logba to pursue secondary education.
In an address, the Chairman of the Akpana Education Fund Committee, Kosi Kedem, said the over dependence on government to provide quality education is not helping the country.
