UMAT 2016 Admission General Information

Undergraduate Admissions For 2016/2017 Academic Year

The University of Mines and Technology announces for the information of the general public that applications are open for the admission of prospective applicants into various undergraduate programmes for the 2016/2017 academic year. All prospective applicants are advised to visit the University’s website www.umat.edu.gh and carefully read all relevant information and guidelines before applying. The University currently runs 10 Bachelor Degree programmes in Engineering under two faculties (Faculty of Mineral Resources Technology and Faculty of Engineering). As a policy, the University admits applicants from all races and nationalities, irrespective of their religious, cultural, social or ethnic persuasions. There is no minimum age limit for admission to any of the approved programmes of study of the University. All Bachelor degree programmes take 8 semesters (4 years) duration to complete.
