UMAT 2016–2017 Admission forms were just released. The details for the release are below;
Details for UMAT 2016/2017 Admission forms
The deadline for the UMAT 2016/2017 Admission forms submission is 30th April 2016
It is announced for the information of prospective applicants that the application forms for admission to undergraduate programmes in the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa, for the 2016/2017 academic year are on sale.
The cost of one set of application forms is two hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢200.00) for Ghanaian applicants and US$100.00 for foreign applicants. The application forms for admission (Ghanaians only) can be purchased at the following places:

  1. Ghana Commercial Bank.
  2. Access Bank.
  3. Ecobank
  4. Zenith Bank
  5. Post Offices.

The following will be the procedure for the sale of the forms:

  1. The Banks and the Post Offices have been furnished with a list of serial numbers with their corresponding Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) for the sale of the forms.
  2. On payment for the forms, the Bank and the Post Offices will issue a payment receipt containing a unique serial number with its corresponding PIN per each form purchased.
  3. The serial number and the PIN will be used by the applicant as the login details on the UMaT Online Admission System. Applicants are allowed to purchase and submit only one form.

Applicants should know that only results provided at the time of submitting the application will be used in selecting students. Application without results is incomplete.
Steps For Undergraduate Applicants
All International or Foreign applicants should follow the steps below.

  1. Applicants should fill in the Online Admission Code Request Form below with a valid mobile number format. For example 00233 becomes 233.
  2. You will receive the Serial Number and Personal Identification Number to access the Online Admission System via Text Message.
  3. Complete the Online Registration process.
  4. Print the completed form and add photocopies of relevant certificates including the copy of the Bank Pay-in-Slip.
  5. Send all documents to the address below.

Note: Applicants in Nigeria who wish to pay at any Ecobank branch do not need to quote any account number. The Applicant should indicate to the bank that they are paying for UMaT Undergraduate Admission Forms.
NB: Ensure to add the original copy of the Pay-in-Slip to the forms before submission.
To complete your application process, a Serial Number and Personal Identification Number (PIN) will be sent to your Mobile Phone.
