No Salary Arrears in October; Validation Extended to December

Teachers and Staff of the Ghana Education Service are not likely to receive their salary arrears by the end of October as speculated,EducationGhana can confirm.Though most of the victims of the three months salary arrears had their monies being paid into their accounts, many others may not enjoy the same privileges as promised by government.

Government promised to pay all monies due by the end of October 2016 .But according to close sources t the validation center,there will be no possibility of most of the teachers even receiving their arrears at the end of October.

The validation is being extended to December to make way for teachers who are yet to submit their documents for validation.Meanwhile those who submitted earlier are not not been paid.

The October payment was extended to November due to the inability of the team to submit data to controller on time,a source disclosed to EducationGhana.net.

Teachers who are yet to submit their documents should  utilize the opportunity by going to their respective IPPD coordinators with the necessary documents.
